Farmers Market Giving Back Week

Friday June 16th The Ghent Farmers Market will hold a donation DRIVE for our friends at The Samaritan House. Rain date 7/7/23.

The Samaritan House will be onsite receiving these donations. They will also take this time to share informative information about their nonprofit.

The Ghent Farmers Market Will Join our sister markets, Kings Grant & Old Beach Farmers Markets in a week of Giving back!
Shedding light on those that help us right here in our communities each day. You never know if you or someone you know will ever need these services. It’s nice to put a face and organization behind all the amazing work these nonprofits do selflessly every day. At the very least we want to make sure they know; WE CARE about what they do!

Samaritan House 

Samaritan House Continued-

For large or heavy items, please call the Samaritan House partner Thrift Store City Pick Up Service at (757) 583-7211 to schedule a pick-up of your items.  Thrift Store City will accept donations of clothing, kitchenware, shoes, pictures, flat screen TVs, knick-knacks and collapsible metal bed frames.
