Things to know before our 1st Market 4-2-21 4-7pm
Ghent Farmers Market happens on the 1st & 3rd Friday of Each Month from April- September from 4-7pm.
To provide essential services, the market has followed requirements of The City of Norfolk and Virginia Farmers Market Association to approve necessary changes to our market to address public health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, our market will be quite different from a traditional farmers market. We know that farmers, vendors, and customers normally spend time at the market to connect with each other, but during this unforeseen situation we cannot spend time with each other in the way we wish we could. We know you are excited for the new market, but we ask you to check our social media sites for a list of vendors to know what you will be shopping for when you arrive. We look forward to the days of walking leisurely through the market, and we know our community will adapt to the changes with patience and grace as we navigate these times together.
THANK YOU for working with us to open the new Ghent Farmers Market this season!
We ask that you enter through Spotswood, the exit will be on Washington. Please see map to help guide you through. Also please note that each number on the tents represents that vendor.
Please see on the map where our Volunteers will be if you have any questions or concerns. They will also have hand sanitizer with them at all times if you need it. The bathroom will be located near the entrance on Spotswood!
• Customers are asked to follow ALL our Market Guidelines.
• The market layout and foot traffic pattern have been designed for social distancing, please follow all signs.
• Customers can PRE-ORDER from farmers & vendors.
• Ghent Farmers Market requires that all staff, vendors, volunteers, and customers wear face coverings, cloth masks or bandannas while on grounds of Blair Middle School during the market.
